Senior Portfolio Manager, Bank Officer
FCB’s senior portfolio manager, Ruby Tarenyika monitors and maintains a portfolio of commercial and real estate loans. As a recent resident of Frederick County, Ruby enjoys learning more about local businesses and how they operate.
Ruby is a big advocate for education and volunteers at Walkersville Middle School, working to build the confidence and leadership skills of its students. She mentors and provides educational and cultural opportunities to foster the students’ development. Ruby appreciates that FCB supports these goals and is committed to enhancing the quality of life in the communities that we serves.
“Community banking plays a vital role in the economic growth of local neighborhoods. Community banks focus their attention on the needs of local families and businesses channeling most of their loans to the neighborhoods where their customers live and work to help keep the local communities growing.”
When she’s not managing loan portfolios or mentoring students, Ruby collects handcrafted African Art from Eastern and Southern Africa. She also loves eating and shopping at the Common Market Co-Op in Frederick, and supporting a company that promotes eco-friendly and fair-trade practices.
