FCB Bank is committed to lending a helping hand whenever we can and our team is passionate about supporting children and youth in need in our local communities. We are excited to provide assistance to the Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership of Frederick County (SHIP) and the Homeless for the Holidays initiative by serving as a collection site for much needed hygiene items at our five FCB Bank locations this holiday season.
Quite simply, SHIP exists because there are school children in our community that need our help. The organization was approached several years ago by Frederick County Public Schools to help collect hygiene items that would eventually be distributed to dozens of schools and passed along to youth in need throughout the year.
In its sixth year, SHIP is hosting a Frederick County-wide collection drive of hygiene items that serves to remind us of the daily challenges facing children and youth that often times many of us take for granted.
