1. What is your FCB Bank story?
My FCB Bank story began 5 years and 5 months ago. During that period, I have held the following positions: Community Banking Specialist II, Community Banking Lead Operations Specialist, and now in my current role of Community Banking Manager.
2. What do you love about working here?
I love the culture of the bank and the people I’ve worked with over the years. I have also developed some good friendships, both with coworkers and clients. My transition to FCB Bank started off with meeting some very good buddies from ACNB that did a very good job of introducing me to what life with ACNB would be like. Since then I’ve gotten to know so many others who make coming to work such an enjoyable experience.
3. What activities do you enjoy doing outside of the office?
Outside of the office, I’m a photographer and DJ. I also love soccer, the only sport I’ve played at any serious level. My love for photography has given me the tremendous experience of Wedding / Events Photography and Landscape Photography. My love for music is unending. I am currently learning to play the trumpet.
I was recently inducted into The Rotary Club of Frederick. I also hold a Master Certificate in Life Coaching. I am ordained/licensed to officiate weddings, and I currently volunteer with the Downtown Frederick Partnership and in the past Blessing in a Backpack.
4. Why should people bank at a community bank?
I believe community banks are important to the social fabric of any local community. As community bankers, knowing our customers is very important as we build relationships beyond monetary obligations. As we develop these relationships we build trust which makes our communities better for all concerned. That being said when, people bank with their community banks, they are investing in their families and themselves and their neighbors.
5. What are some of your favorite local activities or restaurants?
My favorite local activities are taking pictures of landmarks in Frederick. I also love visiting the local shops.
