October Community Shred Day

October Community Shred Day

It's important to protect your personal and financial information! On October 14th FCB held our semi-annual Shred Day event to help people safely destroy their documents.

Together we collected and destroyed more than 12,000 pounds! Want to know when our next Free Community Shred Day will be? Follow us on Facebook or Twitter and you’ll be the first to know.

Local for Local

As part of shred day, we collected food for Pets & People to benefit the Frederick County Humane Society. Our community is incredibly generous and always supports our local for local campaigns. Thank you, Frederick!

Rebecca, Maryann, and Gabi gave all our visitors an FCB swag bag! Because we were collecting items and donations for Frederick County Humane Society, they were dressed as cats.

Does the president of your bank wear cat ears and help the community on a Saturday? Ours does. And our chief lending officer has been spotted going the extra step.
