Meet Linda Roth!
Have you met Linda?
Linda Roth is our new Community Development Program Manager, but she has been “developing community” in Frederick for years on her own time! Outside of her work at FCB, Linda volunteers for a broad range of organizations and is dedicated to serving all aspects of Frederick.

Currently, Linda is the Vice Chair of the Women’s Giving Circle, a group which empowers and financially supports local women in need. She also just completed a full year as the president of The Rotary Club of Carroll Creek at the end of June and continues to serve on the board, where she is working on a project to improve Baker Park as well as other volunteer and fundraising projects.

Linda supports Frederick culture and history by serving as the Special Events Chair for Heritage Frederick. She also serves as the 2nd Vice President of the Weinberg Center for the Arts and Chair of the Tivoli Society, where she helps maintain the historic theater and support the arts.

Staying Involved Through FCB
Linda enjoys meeting new people and businesses, and her role at FCB encourages her to be even more active. She can be found at Chamber of Commerce events, open houses, grand openings, client events, and fundraisers like the Mission of Mercy Gala. Even with her busy schedule, she finds time to volunteer with the rest of the FCB team.
“A typical day at work includes meeting with area clients to make sure they know how much FCB cares about their business, attending events on behalf of the bank and sharing the FCB story with potential clients. Also, developing a more streamlined way to manage client relationships”

To keep all of this straight, she maintains a huge spreadsheet of every upcoming event in Frederick. Linda has lived in Downtown Frederick for over 10 years, so she has a long list of favorites.
“The best thing to do in Frederick is to attend the community events; 4th of July, First Saturdays, any festival or fair, and of course Maryland wineries! I love The Tasting Room, Bella’s, Nidos and Taco Daddy’s. I also like to shop at Alicia L and the Firestone Market.”
When you see Linda around town, be sure to say hello!
