Opportunities for Those Who Serve
Up to $7,500 in Matching Funds
You dedicate yourself to serving, protecting, and supporting the community. When you’re ready to buy a home (whether it’s your first or your next), FCB can assist you in accessing matching funds for the down payment and closing costs incurred when purchasing a home. For every $1 you contribute to your home purchase, you can receive $4 in matching funds, up to $7,500.
Eligible Community Partner Professions
Current and retired employees in the following professions may be eligible for the Community Partners Program.
A current or retired employee of a law enforcement agency administered by a federal, state, or local government; or a sworn law enforcement officer responsible for crime prevention and detection, or criminal incarceration
& School Support Staff
A current or retired employee of an accredited or state-recognized private or public school; a certified teacher or administrator in an education agency; or an employee of a postsecondary level educational institution.
& First Responders
Sworn member of a fire department, emergency medical response, hazardous materials response, or management or response to terrorism. First responders such as an emergency medical technicians, National Guard or Reservist.
Health Care Workers
Certified, accredited, or licensed health care professionals working as a medical resident or fellow; nurse, nursing assistant, pharmacist, physician’s assistant, or medical technician, technologist, or therapist. Employees of accredited or state-recognized medical or health care facilities..
This Program May Be a Good Fit for You if:
- You are a current or retired member of a community partner professions
- First-time or non-first time homebuyer
- You meet the income eligibility requirements
- Contribute at least $1,000 toward the purchase of the home
- Occupy the home as a primary residence
- Complete a homebuyer education and financial literacy course specified by FHLBank Atlanta
