Community Banking Begins Here

FCB … More than a Bank

We believe that a thriving community is the best thing for our residents and businesses. That’s why Frederick County Bank focuses on giving back and lending a hand whenever we can.

Since 2001, Frederick County Bank has been the community bank for Frederick County. Whether it’s volunteering, supporting local events, or helping our neighbors, FCB  has built a reputation as a strong community partner. We have never lost sight of what inspires us: the local heroes, the family businesses, and the individuals we proudly serve every day.

Volunteering in Frederick

The team at Frederick County Bank loves to be active volunteers. Members of our staff have volunteered through the United Way Day of Action, weeding at the Arc of Frederick County, with Blessings in a Backpack, with Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, Frederick County Humane Society, at local schools, and through the Downtown Frederick Partnership.

To help people protect their identities and destroy sensitive information, FCB hosts two free shred days each year. Everyone is invited to bring up to 3 boxes of paper to shred. We recommend you shred: credit and charge card bills, summaries and receipts, ATM and bank statements, employment pay stubs, old tax documents, and items with personal or medical information.

2 North Market Community Window

With our move to the Square Corner, we wanted to give local organizations an opportunity to showcase in one of the highest traffic areas in Frederick. Since starting the Community Window project we’ve welcomed nonprofits and schools to display in the space.

Community Collections

Our clients and community are incredibly generous. Throughout the year, FCB hosts community collection events at our bank centers and through our events. Recently we’ve collected for the Frederick County Humane Society, SHIP of Frederick County, FCPS Socktoberfest, and Box Tops for Education.
