Community Banking Begins Here
Committed to Frederick
We believe that a thriving community is the best thing for our residents and businesses. That’s why FCB Bank focuses on giving back and lending a hand whenever we can.
Whether it’s volunteering, supporting local events, or helping our neighbors, FCB Bank has built a reputation as a strong community partner.
How FCB Bank Gives Back
Volunteering in Frederick
The team at FCB Bank enjoys serving as active volunteers. Members of our staff have volunteered through the United Way Day of Action, weeding at the Arc of Frederick County, with Blessings in a Backpack, with Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, Frederick County Humane Society, at local schools, and through the Downtown Frederick Partnership.
Free Community Shred Days
To help people protect their identities and destroy sensitive information, FCB Bank hosts a free shred day each year. Customers and local residents are invited to bring up to 3 boxes of paper to shred. We recommend you shred: credit and charge card bills, summaries and receipts, ATM and bank statements, employment pay stubs, old tax documents, and items with personal or medical information.
There are so many wonderful events in Frederick! FCB Bank is proud to have supported events like First Saturday, Movie Night on the Creek, Alive @5, It’s a Wonderful Life at the Weinburg, Blue Crabs & Blue Prints, The Great Frederick Fair, The Catoctin Affair, and much more.
You’ll also find many of our team members participating in these events.
2 North Market Community Window
With our move to the Square Corner, we wanted to give local non-profit organizations and schools an opportunity to showcase their mission and upcoming events by creating a window display in one of the highest traffic areas in Frederick. Since the program’s inception, many organizations have enjoyed this rewarding partnership with FCB Bank.
Our customers and community are incredibly generous. Throughout the year, FCB Bank hosts community collection events at our community banking offices and through other activities. Recently we’ve collected for the Frederick County Humane Society, SHIP of Frederick County, FCPS Socktoberfest, and Box Tops for Education.
Casual for a Cause
Throughout the year, FCB Bank staff members are given the opportunity to participate in Casual for a Cause. By making a minimum $5 donation, our team is eligible to wear jeans for the day. In the past, these activities have supported Platoon 22, Kyle’s Crusaders, and more.
Independently, members of Team FCB volunteer with organizations like the area Rotary Clubs and schools, The Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, Frederick Arts Council, Community Foundation, Woman-to-Woman Mentoring, and more. Many of our team members serve on local boards and committees, giving back through FCB Bank and on their own time.
